On 24 December 1994 Turkish President Suleymann Demirel officially opened the Rustu Akin Anadolu Meslek Lisesi (Vocational High School), which the Foundations then donated to the Ministry of Education. The School provides education and training for students who graduate as skilled workers ready to take an active part in the textile industry. The training covers the whole manufacturing process from raw materials, through semi-finishes goods and quality control to the marketing of the final product. The school consists of 76 departments, 32 classrooms, 13 service departments, eight teaching workshops and a library.
