In 1994 the Foundation also established Emel Akin Yuksek Meslek Okulu (Vocational Academy) on the campus of Ege University in Izmir to provide students with technical training covering every facet to the modern textile industry. The school currently offers seven different programs, ranging from technical training related to raw materials such as cotton and yarn to clothing and quality control.

Initially, the school did not have its own building and training was conducted in classes belonging to Ege University's Department of Textile Engineering. In November, 1996 the school moved into its own purpose-built premises constructed by the Foundation on the university campus. The two story building covers 700 square meters and consists of 14 classrooms able to hold 30 and 60 students, and two lecture halls which can hold 120 students each. There is also an administrative department and a staff room for the teachers.
